ProZero is a private, non-commercial hobby project — 100% privately owned, no third-party stakeholders, no advertising, no paid content. Editorial direction: technical writing about chess engine development and the playable ProZero engine itself.

Data Controller (Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR)

Controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the service provider named above. The site processes only the minimum data needed to operate — see the Privacy page for what is and isn't collected. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a functioning website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectify (Art. 16), erase (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), and object (Art. 21) — for any of these, write to chess@oxbow.at. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde) at dsb.gv.at.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
